Gurusevadurina Padmashree Awardee Dr. V. R. Gowrishankar
Gurusevadurina Dr. V. R. Gowrishankar, honored with the prestigious Gurusevadurina title by Sri Sringeri Jagadguru, is a recipient of the Padma Shri Award for Social Work and the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award.
An Electrical Engineer from BMS College and a distinguished DSc (IM) scholar from the Indian Institute of Sciences, he is also a MINA – Member of the All India Management Association, New Delhi.
In a unique feat of spiritualism, he has served nearly four decades as the CEO and administrator of the revered Shri Sringeri Sharada Peetam. His instrumental role in establishing hundreds of institutions worldwide—spiritual, educational, social, and commercial—has generated thousands of jobs and supported countless families globally.
Notably, his initiative to provide midday meals to schoolchildren in Chikkamagalur has thrived for over two decades. Dr. Gowrishankar has also helped numerous startups, especially in rural areas, with successful business models in Ayurveda, yoga, and traditional methods.
His tenure as Chairman of Sri Sankara TV for over a decade helped make the channel a cultural staple for South Indians, promoting heritage and tradition among the youth.
He now serves as Chairman of Ayush TV, continuing his legacy of cultural and social influence.
Dr. R. Arunachalam
Dr. R. Arunachalam, recipient of the Chevalier award from the Government of France and the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava Award, has made remarkable contributions across various fields.
As Chairman of Best Club and Sakthi Hill Resorts, he has successfully developed affordable housing for over 10,000 lower- and middle-class families and changed the exemplary Rajarajeshwari Nagar in Bangalore.
He also serves as Chairman of the International Manufacturers and Producers Association, a Section 8 company that promotes youth engagement in agriculture and supports startups with innovative, sustainable practices.
Additionally, as Chairman of the International Mallikarjun and Pillaiyar Association, he leads a prominent South Indian business community, fostering B2B and B2C projects, organizing workshops, and promoting government schemes for the welfare of women and youth.
With a media background that includes telecasting over 10,000 episodes on Doordarshan Television, advocating various social causes, and advising Sri Sankara TV, Dr. Arunachalam is currently the Vice-Chairman of Ayush TV, continuing his influential work in promoting cultural and social values.
M. Hari Krishnan
M. Hari Krishnan, honored with the Karmayogi title by a renowned spiritual organization and the prestigious Bharathi Theertha Maha Swamiji Award from Sringeri, has had a distinguished career spanning 40 years in various business domains. With expertise in leading and transitioning hundreds of companies to prospective entrepreneurs, he has significantly benefited the community. From 2000 to 2015, he served as a distributor for the esteemed Zee Turner group, representing Karnataka, and also represented prestigious channels like BBC, INX Group, Times of India Group, and Sun Group. In 2007, he founded Kamadhenu Telefilms Private Limited, serving as promoter, founder, and managing director. From 2007 to 2021, he served as managing director and is now the founder, promoter, and director of Kamadhenu Telefilms. Additionally, he is the founder, promoter, and managing director of Ayush TV, a health, wellness, and lifestyle channel promoting ancient health practices like Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Naturopathy, and Homeopathy. Launched in 2017, Ayush TV has successfully spread healthy well-being throughout Karnataka. M. Hari Krishnan currently serves as the Managing Director of Ayush TV Private Limited, continuing his impactful work in the media industry.
